Jacob Shapiro, Ph.D., P.Eng., Eng., Principal

 

Dr. Shapiro studied chemical engineering at McGill University, Montreal and at University of Cambridge, England and is a licensed professional engineer in Ontario and Québec.  Since 1971, he managed a number of technical organizations as well as manufacturing and consulting businesses that operated in North American and international markets.

 

Dr. Shapiro advises clients in the private sector and the federal and provincial governments on the development of regulatory standards for air emissions and the management of chemicals and hazardous waste.  He has worked with many industry sectors, including: automotive, chemicals, forest products, mining and metallurgy, paints & coatings, plastics, refrigeration & air conditioning, and hazardous waste.
